In Between Days
St. Petersburg, Florida · Roadside Jazz · April 2026
The first TIE experience beyond the omakase table.
In collaboration with In Between Days’ monthly Roadside Jazz series, The Imprint Experience introduced Gyotaku in a new setting - one centered not around a curated dining experience, but around music, community, and hands-on creativity.
Guests were invited to slow down, learn the centuries-old tradition of Gyotaku, and create their own original fish print under the guidance of founder and artist Jacelyn Rene. The evening offered a more intimate, participatory expression of the practice while maintaining the sense of craft, curiosity, and connection at the heart of TIE.
The event marked an important expansion of The Imprint Experience, proving that the tradition could move beyond the omakase table and into new spaces, communities, and forms of gathering. What began as an experiment became a major success - and opened the door to a broader vision for what TIE could become.
